We stayed for 2 nights. Overall good experience. The hotel gives you cruise vibes. Room was clean with good view, super close to most of the attractions of baltimore. GPS kept taking us to parking lot for pier 5 but the hotel is bit further then that and they do have a separate private parking lot across the one with pier 5 logo on it. Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall good experience.
I stayed here Sept 21-24 and it was great. It's a unique and very cool hotel in an excellent location, right by the aquarium and close to many restaurants. Our room was attractive and clean, and the beds were comfortable. Don't be deterred by the bad reviews some people have written. I would stay here again, no question.
Had my wedding here on New Year's Eve 2025. Couldn't have chosen a better place, the planning process, flexibility, setup and execution was an incredible and accommodating experience. Location was beautiful, presidential suite was fantastic, view of the fireworks from everywhere is unmatched. Everyone helping that night was so friendly and amazing. Highly recommend for any night with fireworks or a wedding.
Tico went above and beyond to make sure that we had an excellent stay. The breakfast turned out to be surprisingly good. Once again we received immaculate service with pleasant smiles and tasty food. This is our 2nd time staying here. The only thing that needs to be addressesd is that the hot water could be hotter and some microwaves inside of the rooms would make the stay more convenient and comfortable. We'll definitely be back again. Especially since the hotel is located right by the Harbor and alot of stores and restaurants are within walking distance.
Came into Baltimore for the theater and stayed for two nights Nov 12/13, 2025. I picked this hotel due to the location in Inner Harbor. We were greeted by a friendly gentleman at the desk when we arrived in the evening. Usual business with no problems. Arrived to the room to find the light on and temperature appropriate for new guest arrival. All lights worked, thermostat and HVAC unit worked, nothing stood out as off. Bathroom was clean and stocked with towels sufficient to two guests. Individually wrapped hand soap on the sink, pre-filled bottles with pump dispensers in the shower. We bring our own shower supplies so can't speak to the quality of those. Height of the shower head was unexpectedly low. My daughter who is 5'10" had to duck to wash her face and hair. Water pressure and temperature were both great. Bathroom was handicap accessible which was not specified for our reservation, unknown if all rooms are that way. Grab bar in the shower, commode very low to the floor, and counter height was lower than usual with open front. Room was overall very comfortable for our stay but is due for some basic drywall maintenance and a coat of paint throughout. The few interactions with staff were in passing the counter and everyone we encountered was friendly. We would likely stay here again.
We hosted a small event in one of the suites. We were very satisfied with the staff & their services they were very friendly and accommodating. Ms Danita and Meta were warm and welcoming at the front Desk. Austin and Lena made breakfast quite enjoyable. The location has a pleasant view and the ambiance at night was nice too.
We hosted our wedding at the hotel and stayed in the presidential suite and our wedding weekend was nothing short of amazing. The staff was welcoming and accommodating and helped make a fun (but stressful) but made the entire day easy! The presidential suite was perfect for my bridal party to get ready (2 hair stylists stations and 2 mua stations) and the other suite was perfect for the groomsmen to gather! Thank you Pier 5! We can't wait to come back!!!!
Perfect location in the heart of the Inner Harbor with a beautiful view. The person I am most grateful to, and who truly made the vacation happy and the stay comfortable, is the best receptionist, Tico. He was polite, always smiling, and very skilled at finding what makes the guest comfortable. He genuinely made the stay extremely pleasant and relaxing for me and my children. I am truly thankful to him, as he makes any guest feel nothing but care and attention to their comfort. Thank you, Tico.
